The four-step troubleshooting flow
Set up your environment
Add your devices — firewalls, switches, servers — with vendor, product, and reference details (IPs, firmware versions, interfaces). Tech Matrix uses this as ground truth so every answer is anchored to your actual setup.
Upload your topology
Drop in a network diagram (Visio, image, PDF) plus topology notes. Tech Matrix builds an internal map of traffic flow so it can trace problems across every hop, not just the device you mention.
Troubleshoot
Select the affected devices, attach packet captures if you have them, and describe the issue. Tech Matrix cross-references your environment, topology, and symptoms. If the agent is installed, it pulls live state from devices in real time.
Get the fix
Step-by-step resolution with exact CLI commands tailored to your specific devices, firmware, and layout. With the agent installed, you can approve and run those commands directly from chat — your click required for every command.
